Measure Z-Sales Tax Increase

City of Riverside Public Safety and Vital City Services Measure:
Voters are to decide if a one-cent per taxable dollar transaction and use tax (sales tax) increase from 8% to 9% will be implemented in the City of Riverside. It is estimated this will provide $48,000,000 annually through 2036 unless extended by the voters. If passed, this Measure will require independent audits and a new Citizen Budget Advisory Committee to be created by the Council.
